DUX GREASED LIGHTNING ‘DANNY’ |

Danny is a boy I wasn’t planning on keeping. I love to watch my puppies play and move as they are growing and by 7 weeks or so you can usually tell which pups are going to have the best movement. I was watching the girls as I wanted to keep a girl and it was obvious which girl I would keep. As I watched the boys I was struck with both of them and how cleanly they both moved. I had a rather lengthy list of potential pet homes but no show homes for a boy. As I watched the boys Black boy just caught my attention….seemed like every time I saw him he was stacked perfectly and would look at me with an attitude and presence that could not be ignored. He just has “it” . I think the green boy moves equally cleanly and angles may be slightly better but he is a cuddly lap dog. So Green boy went to a fantastic pet home and I kept black boy. I cannot let him go anywhere other than an established show home where I would have access to him. Those are few and far between so I will keep him unless the perfect home comes around. I usually don’t do themes for litters but I was deliberating over names and heard one of the songs from Grease on the radio and thought that might be fun. I did not ask the folks that took a pet to follow the theme but I did. So Danny and Sandy (his littermate I kept) are the call names for these pups.
Danny is just starting to hit the shows for experience…..so far not so bad. Time and experience will get him ready to be competitive. |
